4 Years ago this month, I finally moved into a nice apartment of my very own where I still am today.
@colbyhedgey.bsky.social drew this pic to celebrate the occasion! ^.^

![Indigo, an anthropomorphic little blue penguin (scientifically known as "Eudyptula minor"), is only wearing a 2-Velcro-taped nappy.
Indigo is a trans woman, hence her flat yet feathery chest.
She is looking at herself in the bathroom mirror.
Her usually brown eyes and her usually black beauty mark (with the shape of the Japanese kanji 秘 [hi, "secret"]) are respectively colored dark blue and light turquoise, to communicate the sadness and the pain she feels when she is seen as "not enough" or "too much" for some people.
Her tears running down her face are mixed with her progressively defaced light blue eyeshadow and black eyeliner.
Her hands are on the bathroom sink. On that sink, there are her glasses placed next to the bathroom faucet and two wristbands placed near the glasses: one wristband has the colors of the trans flag and the other wristband has the colors of the progressive disability pride flag.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:yqmqe5stkahwawokmrfyzupq/bafkreid352zjbdbdw6nzufq5qtkwbcmq33zt2pxv6capy6x5jbfmcgia3e)
