I think it's always a 'busy day in A&E'. I'm so grateful myself for the treatment I had for a burst appendix 4 years ago. The whole place seemed chaotic but the people who dealt with me were fantastic and the treatment top class. I just can't imagine what would replace the NHS if it wasn't there 🤷‍♂️

My dad was a farmer until he retired. You can't get English people to work on farms, they don't want to be cold, wet, tired, sore and aching every day. Foreign labourers will do this work. If it wasn't for them, we'd have a lot less food produced here.

It was all going well until I got to who "I" was...

I worked at Creamfields 2026 festival on the night shifts, helping people get home once they'd had enough of the music and the mud! I love this duty, meeting thousands of people, young and old, from all around the world. Seen here are a couple of our buses wading through the mud at around 2am.

I love them too. They're better to drive than most cars and you can surprise a lot of motorists with the speed they can accelerate at. Sadly my depot is going to lose them all next year due to reorganisations in the area 😭. They just look great too. Volvo bus with Egyptian body.

I use it in work too, it's important for us to know about traffic flows, incidents etc. We now cross reference everything on Google with Waze and Bing as the information from all of them has become less reliable over the last 12 months.

Awful isnt it. I won't engage with anything promoted by this rubbish. The worst one I've come across was a local Art Fayre promoting painters and artists which was advertised using an AI generated poster. It's almost criminal.

Mate, I find it so wearing these days to even have reasonable discussions about things.. if they don't agree, it's fake or a lie, even when presented with evidence, that's also fake or biased. I've basically stopped talking about a lot of issues with others as it's so tiring and frustrating 🙁

This is a photo from about 1976 when they first took over the farm... he built the house himself and thats the tractor I still have. He ended up with about 4 or 5 big 'greenhouses' which you can grow virtually anything in.

...and grow a big variety of things. Otherwise you end up with 1000 tomatoes or cucumbers all ready at the same time 🤣

My dad used to have poly tunnels like that on his farm. Relatively easy to replace the cover and not particularly expensive. Water might be one of your biggest issues. Look at water collection & storage systems so you're not relying on buying it in.

Currently bored in the depot. I did take this the other day as I tried to be a bit arty, but it just looks like I've been knocked over by my own bus 🤷‍♂️.

It seems to be for the 'hard of thinking' or those with no imagination. "I need to show you this as there's no way you could imagine it". On the next level I suppose they could show the presenter being shot or blown up. Just in case we can't imagine it.

I've just seen an "Art in the Park" event advertised in my local town using one of these posters... ironically awful! I expect when people go ALL of the art is produced by AI. And they all have that weird look to them as well... sort of sinister.

I'm surprised about these issues. I work in bus control in the UK. Buses are tracked in real time and drivers aren't allowed to leave early otherwise it flags up for investigation which may include discipline. Companies can lose their licence to operate if this keeps happening.

It's amazing how we got round to inventing the smallest, wireless, rechargeable ear buds and then suddenly people decided to throw them away and subject everyone in a 10m radius to whatever they are watching, listening to or talking about. Can be very distracting when I'm driving my bus!
