ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 31/08/2026I worked at Creamfields 2026 festival on the night shifts, helping people get home once they'd had enough of the music and the mud! I love this duty, meeting thousands of people, young and old, from all around the world. Seen here are a couple of our buses wading through the mud at around 2am. 110
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Made this for the park & ride that we operate in Southport for the Flower Show. We had one but someone lost it years ago. I have to say I quite impressed myself with it 🤣 110
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 02/08/2026Currently bored in the depot. I did take this the other day as I tried to be a bit arty, but it just looks like I've been knocked over by my own bus 🤷♂️. 110
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 08/06/2026Today I dug my tractor out of its shed as I intend to do a bit of work on it over the summer. It was my dad's from nearly new (1965) and when he retired there was no way I could let it go. So it lives with me, 61 years young and starts on the button. 120

ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 02/06/2026I generally dislike social media and a great part of the internet... but every now and then it throws a curve ball and I love it. 010
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 02/06/2026Another of my infrequent work posts... this is probably my favourite photo. I used to live a short distance from here and this was the start/finish point for so many journeys in my life. I now get to drive those journeys for other people. 110

ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 17/05/2025I don't post much work stuff here, but today we received the first of a batch of brand new single deck buses for North Liverpool. Always nice to get new stuff as a driver... buses are expected to last 15-20 years so it doesn't happen every day. 360
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 04/03/2025Might be unpopular, but I'm happy to pay a bit more tax to increase our defence spending... I'd rather do this than cut other things that are already surviving on peanuts. BUT, some of the most wealthy need to help too and we need to recover more money from COVID mismanagement. 180
Reposted by ChrisHurstBest for Britain @bestforbritain.org · 27/02/2025The cost of reaching net zero in the UK by 2050 is now predicted to be just 0.2% of GDP (about £4 billion per year). Spread this far and wide. It reveals Reform and the Conservatives' opposition to net zero for being 'too expensive' as just plain wrong. 11497256

ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 05/01/2025A bit of snow, less than forecast (so far) and a couple of hours late, but it makes for a wintery scene here where I had just finished the last 61 service of the night at Old Swan, Liverpool. 020
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 11/12/2024Not exactly textbook quality but here is one of my #foxoftheday pictures from my doorbell camera. There are generally 2 or 3 of them; a couple of years we've had fox cubs as well. I just put out water and a selection of dog food every night. North Liverpool. 030
ChrisHurst @crh932.bsky.social · 09/12/2024I will post occasional pictures or thoughts from my job. On Sunday I had an interesting job taking buses from Southport (Merseyside) to Castleford (Yorkshire) across the Pennines. He we are at Hartshead Moor services, giving the buses a rest after the long slog uphill from Manchester. 020
