I use a mix of wet and dry sandpaper, sanding sponges, diamond cut hand sanding tools, with a mix of different head shapes, and a whole lotta mindless perseverance.

A giant sculpture commission I've been working on for a while. Nearly finished sanding, then I can mount it on the stand and paint! This thing is enormous. All the limbs were cut apart and printed separately. Sculpted in Zbrush. It's been weeks of sanding!

My Candy Critter magnets, in cold cast aluminium! Frank did an incredible job making these- I just love that finish on them! These were originally sculpted by me in Monster Clay, and then moulded in silicone. I made these probably about 10 years ago or so.

I'm hoping it calms down soon, but it's proving really hard to just exist rn haha. Everything feels like it's twisting and swaying away from me. Only bonus is I'm not stomach upset, so I guess silver linings, hey? Anyway, can't do much work cuz I might fall over and injure myself. Fun times....

It means I have severe oscillopsia, where my vision isn't tracked by my brain properly. I can't read signs when I'm moving, or see things properly. Everything shakes, and is MUCH worse at night. My balance day to day is horrendous. This current bout of motion sickness is new, and infuriating....

I have permanent inner ear damage (nearly 20 years now, from CF drug toxicity) which means I have zero balance as is &had to retrain my brain on how to walk & run & ride bikes without falling over. I still get rushes of twisting vertigo occasionally, but lack of balance is constant and permanent....

So I arrived back home to the UK from Canada on Monday, and I have felt travel sickness like never before. It's been 6 days, and I still feel like I'm on a rocking boat, and it almost feels like it's getting worse. On some drugs from the GP, just started today, so fingers crossed....
