I’ve recently discovered a new creative hobby: embroidery/ cross stitch. I bought a small cross stitch kit from hobbycraft & really enjoyed making the butterfly. Then I was gifted some beautiful kits from cotton_clara so have moved onto these cute funghi.

I’m reading Expert by Roger Kneebone for @oncologybookclub.bsky.social Fascinated by this section when he describes how an expert embroiderer and vascular surgeon learn from each other; a beautiful example of connection between creativity & medicine.

I rediscovered my love for creativity during lockdown when I tried some free online watercolour workshops. I also reignited my interest in writing poetry. I also enjoy making things with my boys & inspiring them to be creative too!
