My daughter is in San Jose and she rents a one bedroom apartment and it's $2,500 a month. Until my house was paid for I had a $2,000 a month mortgage but that was for a four-bedroom home with a living room, dining room, eat in kitchen, family room, plus a finished basement and a big yard!
