Look like X is having problems. This is what I'm seeing on X; I'm thinking this on the app as well.

I want to get back into writing, but because it would be such a huge commitment, I decided to try to learn to write poetry. After researching books, I think these four will give me a good head start. I doubt what I write will be good, but I just have some emotions that I want to share

Since I know that my writing skills are garbage 😅, I decided to purchase books on both nonfiction and fiction writing. There are also the poetry books I bought. After studying, I might practice writing fiction again by creating an alt account on Royal Road.

If you're a fan of the French Revolution, you'll probably not enjoy or even agree with this book.

I wasn't expecting how scathing the author would be towards those who would try to remove Christians from society in an attempt to create a hyper-secularized society--describing how such efforts would remove the moral guardrails that protect against totalitarianism.

It often starts small like "don't talk about Jesus in a professional environment" or "be more considerate of other beliefs." Then it'll slowly escalate when you don't comply.

I've even interacted with individuals who would claim how certain political systems that are similar to a belief system aren't a monolith and there's nuance. But Christians aren't given the same degree of courtesy. They'll dump everyone they can connect to Christianity into a single pot to condemn.

Creation Web Novel Studio 🇰🇷 @creationnovel.bsky.social · 23/12/2024

As I learn more about Christian history, I'm understanding that Christians are being manipulated and shamed into condemning a history that they don't understand. I say manipulated because how often those critical of our history stay quiet of the countless death under systems hostile to Christianity.

For clarification purposes, could you let me know under what moral framework did those governments operate--leading to 100 million deaths within several decades? I just want to compare it to what the image referenced of those operating under a Christian moral framework?

I think nonbelievers struggle with the idea that (as Christians) we don't think we're good people. I imagined it's hard to imagine people thinking they deserve eternal punishment because of something they did.

I appreciate you sharing the video. The reference from Turek was to show the number and the distinction between theism and atheism. Even if Turek as an authority is an issue, the core argument remains--why do we see such a disparity in deaths over comparable time periods?

Creation Web Novel Studio 🇰🇷 @creationnovel.bsky.social · 22/12/2024

I think I prefer Christian morality. 🙏✝ • 100,000,000 people killed by atheism over just a few decades VS • 500,000 people killed by theism over 500 years Normalized: • Atheism (assuming 30 years) = 3,333,333 deaths per year VS • Theism = 1,000 deaths per year

Being on social media, if you're prideful, you'll inevitably encounter those who will try to use your pride against you. We're not here to win. Jesus has already done that. We need to focus on softening hearts.

This is just like building a healthy friend group. You should make friends who have a desire for your best interest, just like you have for them. You should care for them. But this is only possible if you understand their character as you grow closer with them.

As a nobody, I think it's important to rely on those who have more experience and wisdom than I do. The Holy Spirit will help with discerning what's right and what's wrong, but this is contingent on us building a relationship with the Father. Be cautious and try not to desire to be an authority. ✝️

If you think that your life can be divided between times when you're allowed to follow Christ and times you're part of the world, you never gave your life to Him.

Reading this helped reinforce the need for me to better understand the Trinity. While I won't understand even a fraction of the Trinity, I want to get to a point where I could walk someone through what the Trinity means for Christians.

I want to caution Christians who want to be full-time (or are full-time) on social media that our goal shouldn't be to "win" against those who don't believe in salvation through Jesus Christ. God is already victorious. ✝️ Our aim should be to soften the hearts of nonbelievers.

Despite how our professional accomplishments are meaningless, society still pressures us to care about them. Eventually, our accomplishments become idols. Instead of focusing on the finite world. We should focus on the infinite ahead of us. Part 2 of 2

Please read what's on these 5 (total) images. ❤️✝️ Even those who follow Christ struggle with the understanding that our professional accomplishments that we've been taught to value by the secular world is ultimately meaningless--especially if God isn't the focus Part 1 of 2

I hope that sharing these images, talking about the consequences of sin entering the world, will better equip Christians to better convey why we think the fall was such a traumatic historical event.

I can't help but feel humbled after reading this profound statement going over the fall as described in Genesis.

000

Creation Web Novel Studio 🇰🇷 @creationnovel.bsky.social · 15/12/2024

When we talk about the resurrection, I think about the burden of proof often demanded of us. Some skeptics expect a level of proof that isn’t even required in our justice system or throughout the study of history. This expectation seems both inconsistent and unfair.

It's crucial to take in information and make a sound decision. You shouldn't accept what others tell you just because you believe they're smarter/wiser than you. The only one you can rely on is God. 🙏❤️✝️

Bringing it to 🦋 by request: People hate their own art because it looks like they made it. They think if they get better, it will stop looking like they made it. A better person made it. But there's no level of skill beyond which you stop being you. You hate the most valuable thing about your art.
