A note from Amelia You can keep up with us here and on our Discord discord.charactercreationcast.com

Screenshot of message from Amelia on discord:

Hey folks. Just to give you an update of where things are at. Ryan and I were obviously both hoping to have something to put out for February. Unfortunately I have been struggling with several different issues at home including the shutdown of healthcare for my trans daughter which has triggered a lot of anxiety and emotion for me, and now a possible cancer diagnosis for my mom this weekend after a several weeks of really worrying health issues for her. It’s really important to us that we give you good quality content and especially that we are giving our patrons their money’s worth but our own health and our families are always going to have to come first. As soon as we know a little bit more will be sure to tell you and share that with you. I promise that we really do want to keep making this podcast but obviously we have to prioritize. Please keep my family in your thoughts! I’m really lucky to have such a great community around me as I go through all of this.
Thank you!

The tweets that started it all, just over 7 years ago. @lordneptune.com had a late night thought, @gingerreckoning.bsky.social enthusiastically responded, and everything fell into place so fast after that. Thank you all for joining us on this tremendous journey!

A Twitter thread between Ryan Boelter and Amelia Antrim. Ryan said "Podcast concept that I think I would love to do: Character Create Cast - a podcast where a group creates characters from different fans, discusses the process, and compares it to similar games. Would be a great learning tool for players new to certain games, I'd think."

To which Amelia responded "Oh my god this sounds amazing. Char gen is one of my favorite parts of gaming!!!"
