So that'll be another #DoctorWho anniversary being marked by one specific Doctor again, yeah? The same one who got three new episodes to mark the show's 60th anniversary. I just... no.

#StarTrek and #OnlyFoolsAndHorses share an anniversary today (60 years for Trek, 45 for OFAH). And whilst the two series don't have much else in common, it did occur to me that there is a certain similarity in the core design of their respective vehicles.

The Starship Enterprise from Star Trek and the Trotters' yellow three wheeled van from Only Fools and Horses.

So with the Women's Speed Title likely being quietly discarded (under the more appeasing description of "Unified") that means NXT now has 4 active men's titles. And two for the women's division. 😒 #WWE #WWENXT

16th July 2017. And a casting announcement that would lead to me rediscovering my love of all things Doctor Who. #JodieWhittaker #DoctorWho

Jodie Whittaker revealed as the 13th Doctor on 16th July, 2017.

Mercedes coming back to #AEW after losing her titles and immediately winning a tournament over an unfavoured "surprise" finalist isn't a story. However. Maya winning does two things. It gives her a much deserved rub and opportunities going forwards. AND it adds some actual weight to Mercedes'...

I popped into my local Nerd Base this morning and discovered they've got a cabinet shelf full of CO figures. Which meant I was finally able to pick up the only other Doctor that I've wanted a figure of for a while. And for the very reasonable (and extremely appropriate) price of just £6! #DoctorWho

Part of my 13th Doctor display, now including a figure of my 2nd favourite Doc' (and favourite Classic Doctor), Six!!

I'm finally up to date with @dereklandy.bsky.social's Skulduggery Pleasant!! I've been there from the start, but over the years, between no longer commuting to work and other distractions, my reading habits dropped to basically none. I found myself in a state of always nearly starting...

I've seen a few people lay the blame for the current #DoctorWho situation squarely at the feet of Jodie and Chibnall. And to be honest, I think they're right. From 2018 to 2022, Doctor Who absolutely peaked. And so it was inevitable that anything after that would feel like a bit of a downgrade. 😁

Whenever a female talent is released from WWE, the "SHE SHOULD BE IN AEW" posts begin. And I agree, someone of KLR's talent should be somewhere with a high salary. Weirdly though, most comments seem to suggest that #AEW would be a good place for KLR to wrestle. And that I find much more puzzling.

This is why I should stick to Tier lists. There are so many Doctors that I just can't choose between. So whenever any of my equal placed Doc's went head to head on the sorter, I just picked one at random, knowing they'd be bunched together in the final result #DoctorWho www.sortr.io/sorter/docto...

Just watched the two recovered #DoctorWho episodes on iPlayer. And they were OK. I probably don't hold the same reverence for them as some fans, as I've only ever watched/listened to Master Plan once in its entirety, and that was just a couple of years ago. On that basis, these two eps didn't...

The Doctor; "So... all of time and space, everything that ever happened or ever will. Where do you want to start?" #DoctorWho

Bonnie Langford as Mel in the Doctor Who story Paradise Towers. Mel is standing in a time machine, capable of her taking her anywhere and anywhen in the universe. To sunny days on Margate beach in the 1950's to planets where the seas are pure crystal blue and taste of strawberries. But no, Mel would rather go to a chintzy looking 80's swimming pool that wouldn't be out of place in a three star travel tavern.

My rational brain knows any opportunity to get on TV and appear in a major fed is a fantastic opportunity. My "It's still real to me, damnit!" brain hates seeing immensely talented wrestlers portrayed as absolute jobbers who don't get any offense in at all. #AEW #Wrestlesky

The message seems to be that continuing to put multiple women in teams, stables, factions, etc is just a way of using more women across less matches/TV time. It's the "Throw them all in one feud!" approach.

I was still in my semi-wilderness years when this was released, only dipping into Who occasionally and a long way from the fan I had been in my teens. I had loved the TV Movie though and the release of this CD was one of the few #DoctorWho things that I was properly excited for during that period.

I only found out about #CorrieDale 10 minutes ago. Out of curiosity, I started watching Corrie. It soon occurred to me that the novelty of a crossover is significantly diminished if you aren't familiar with most of the characters or their storylines, having not watched either show for 20+ years.

It's also the #DoctorWho scene I've watched more than any other, having viewed it every day in the gap between Xmas '17 and October '18. And I still just watched 12's regeneration "live" on YouTube. 🥰
