Being half english, half french. I can totally confirm that I was unbiased this match. Also I care so little about the world cup that I had a meal in a brewery for 90 minutes and my eyes were glued to the screen, and I might have said "oh come on!" At the red card. But as I say, im not biased.

I would love one day to get into cetacean science. But since starting The Whale Talk podcast, that if I am not destined for a science career, im still happy to educate people on cetaceans. Today after recording the podcast at lime kiln, people started asking me about cetaceans. I went full teacher!

Anyone that's been whale watching will know this, seeing whales with your own eyes...it changes you. It's not something that's easy to explain. The more people that get to give whale watching a try, the more people will be for protecting these whales.

On June 14, Southern Residents returned to the inland waters of the Salish Sea for the first time in 62 days. It was more than 40 whales: J-Pod and the Greater L4 sub-group. Today, the CWR announced that a new whale, L130, was spotted with L-Pod on that same day! Read more: tinyurl.com/OBI-Blog
