Last I checked, @lakemichigan13.bsky.social is actually Michigami—Ojibwe for “big lake.” The French shrugged and made it Michigan. If it were Illinois, it’d be Irrenxwa. Doesn’t quite roll off the tongue, but hey—call it whatever you want.

🤨That would be a feat.. seeing as the amount of ice on Mars is approximately 5 million cubic km. Superior has 12,000cubic. Km of water. Only Utopia Planitia on Mars has a similar volume to Superior.
