20.5 / John Carpenter has so much fun on commentaries, it's like hanging out with Pee-Paw as he spins some yarns about his job. My 👨‍🦳👨‍🦳👨‍🦳👨‍🦳👨‍🦳 review of prince of darkness boxd.it/gKlDVp

Me: I don't want to watch Halloween, but damn I could go for some Donald Pleasence, preferably directed by John Carpenter. The ever helpful Prince of Darkness:

Donald Pleasence as Priest in Prince of Darkness.

The crowd is so white hot for the seventh match in the Elite vs Death Triangle series. Really speaks to the teams that they can make it feel fresh and must see tv after 6 matches in a month and a half stretch.

17 / Other Mommy feels like it was tuned perfectly to be The Next Mass Appeal Horror Movie. Personally I like my horror more uncomfortable than that, but I'm already 17 horror movies watched in October on the 10th so I'm not mass audiences. My 💅💅💅 review of Other Mommy. boxd.it/gIJNDl

A ★★★★ review of Other Mommy (2026)

This is maybe the ideal mass market horror movie of our moment. Just enough over the edge gore and creepiness to be memorable, not too much to leave audiences uncomfortable, and it makes sure to send ...

18/ the new 4k release from Arrow is truly stunning. One of the best 4k treatments I have ever seen, the balance of sharper images without sacrificing film grain is perfect. It feels like I'm seeing it for the first time, again. My 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛ review of Ju-on The Grudge (2002) boxd.it/gIRRFr

Which of these horror villains would you have the best chance of surviving? Choose carefully...

A grid of nine images featuring:
Evolver from Evolver
A goblin from troll 2
The killer from Prom Night (1980)
A slug from Slugs
The killer from Prom Night (2008)
Kurt Kunkle from Spree
