Yea the work making MacOS more Linux like has made the use case much smaller it feels. A lot of the old timers still don’t realize how different it works now with things like brew and that’s really my only knowledge of the rationale for hating Mac’s UNIX flavor

I should have said maybe the distros I like aren’t but yea like you’re saying, there’s not the greatest need in the world for it

Also a bummer there’s not much movement on getting Linux builds for the M series chips

First book ever read on an ereader. Really weird and funny, basically just digging holes and going to the pub over and over and over. Like a desert island story crossed with Chicken Run. Will be checking out his other stuff.

To some people, books are somehow exempt from the same mechanism that slopifies every other cultural product. If I had to guess, it’s because they still associate it with being rewarded with pizza for it.
