On the bright side though this is only going to get worse. As mega corps that have sunk billions into this “Artificial Industrial Revolution” use their political power to convince governments to pour money and our rights into this more and more businesses will be cajoled into using AI.

We really do sell everything here. Coal, iron ore, natural gas, our souls. We’re the Dollar Store of the industrial world.

Ah yes, the National Summit where all the rich people tell the country people how they’re going to pillage their land for profit, and the country people applaud because at least their fancy new massive hole in the ground isn’t a wind turbine.

Profitable now but only because there’s no competition. That’s starting to change (but only because of another billionaire who for some reason is obsessed with male genitalia)

Come on down to Honest Paulines Used Planes. All of our planes have low miles and only a slight waft of corruption. Starting at a low low $1,000,000. Get yours today before they fly off... or the AEC confiscates them.

If Labor decided today that they would raise the rate to say the same level as the aged pension they would have the numbers to get it through the house immediately. That just leaves the senate and the Greens would be tripping over themselves to support this. It would be done by the weekend.

My take fwiw, this racist dimwitted group of people want to get attention and garner numbers so they went for the easiest way to get publicity, booing Welcome to Country during the ANZAC memorial. They were just a bunch of unnamed idiots until the press publicized their group's name. So they won.

This is the third credible attempt on Trump’s life. Prediction: This will make headline news for a few days. There will be conspiracy theories about this being an attempt to stop the slide in Trump’s popularity. And in a few weeks no one will care or even mention it.

Could just stop using their services. Granted that doesn’t stop their government contracts but it’s harder to win those contracts when you don’t have the public to test your product on.

Albanese poised to kill off move to increase taxes on gas giants
The government will not increase taxes on gas giants in next month's budget, echoing the industry's argument that exporters are already paying tens of billions of dollars in taxes each year.

When the police act like a peaceful demonstration is a tinderbox waiting to be lit. A sign was held up, that’s the most aggressive non police act that occurred during that entire farce yet the premise of this arrest and law was to prevent violence against a group of people. Performative policing.

It's not just them, we're the same. We make decisions every day that effects our neighbours and those decisions are rarely (if at all) discussed from their viewpoint. For example our government is currently outbidding our neighbours for oil supplies without any thought of rationing on our part.

Oh no. I sure hope Donald doesn't hear this, get upset and blame everything on Netanyahu and then act rashly not only by abandoning the conflict with Iran but also removing Israel's arms and financial support. That would be a terrible terrible thing that I'm sure absolutely no one would want.

But that's everything. Someone good at maths now has to deal with English that's been advanced by two years. Plus grades work on a learning process, you have to follow the steps of learning to be able to build on that to go further. You remove steps and what do they build on?

So they should be bored? They should just leave school early because it does nothing for them just so other kids don't feel left out? Or should we simply put all kids in these advanced learning classes so the kids who can't handle it get frustrated and leave school? Is that privilege?

We're a very insecure people. Maybe it's the remoteness, maybe it's the fact we're a largely white population in what is essentially Asia/pacific, whatever it is we've always felt we need help to protect ourselves from whatever threat we can think up. We don't actually need it, but we believe we do
