I loved Laura's nuanced take on this. And we got to dive into some of the cultural differences as well with the help of some kind thai community members.

Absolutely love the discussion that @cranesofbl.bsky.social opens up about heteronormative gender stereotypes in BL with the example of #ThamePo 1/ vm.tiktok.com/ZNeoFgXPX/

Currently watching: Heart Killers (feeling meh about it), My Stand-In (so bad that it's really very good again), Ossan's Love (I'd watch EM in anything) and ThamePo (absolute highlight of my week; uncharacteristically good for GMMTV) And my current ship obsession is obviously #WilliamEst 🥹🌈

Okay yes how can we get this made?

Seems kinda illogical to me to counter what's happening with tiktok by going to another app that's likely to get banned, too. Like, y'all realize the tt ban's main purpose is to set a precedent?

Everyone keeps telling me that My Stand-In will get so much more unhinged and I'm already past baseball bat and one-year-shmex-slave-contract. HOW BAD CAN IT GET? I'm on episode 6??? #blcommunity #blfan #thaibl #mystandin

EarthMix in a political drama about activists in the fight for marriage equality in Thailand.

Nori is blissfully unaware of the shitty systems. And she finally managed to master the "spin" command today which resulted in many treats 😌

If you could drop a GMMTV pair (can be a fixed ship but you can also mix and match) in a Mandee style show (has more explicit intimacy) - who would it be and what plot would you like? #ThaiBL #BLcommunity

this has been the most intense WilliamEst weekend so far and someone reminded me that lykn's tour is coming up and we'll likely get less of them but HEAR ME OUT what if Est joins them on the tour? he's basically an honorary member atp anyway #williamest #lykn #est_rvp #thamepo

Oh I'm sure the s/a is coming in some form - but I'm bailing before it gets that far

Really not sure about that one. I think I would've preferred one layer of historical drama instead of two mixed in with supernatural elements. The plot of the earlier love seems a lot more intriguing.

I've created a little BL Community Hub (feed) to keep us all connected and in one space #blcommunity #bl #blfandom bsky.app/profile/did:...

Now all we need is this app introducing 10min videos and we're good @bsky.app
