Will FOX News report this? Probably not.

For those who may be overwhelmed by all of the nonsense MAGA has been spouting about noncitizens potentially having registered to vote and voting, let me share the timeline of one such hysterical claim and how it played out.

July 2026 - The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it had discovered 15,903 names of people in Nevada who were on the voter rolls that DHS suspected were not citizens. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin threatened elections officials with prosecution if they didn’t adequately respond to that information and fix their voter rolls. Nevada officials responded by asking for the actual list of names.

August 2026 - In a call with Nevada officials, DHS acknowledged that 15,903 was a potential “ceiling” of numbers and DHS needed more time before they could transmit those names to Nevada.

Later in August 2026 - DHS sent Nevada a list of 185 names but claimed there were still thousands of more names they would be sending to Nevada.

September 2026 - Nevada verified that all 185 people on the list DHS sent were, in fact, U.S. citizens eligible to vote.

One sailor’s wife, Annabelle Loma, told The Guardian newspaper that her husband, who has served for 13 years, had tried to jump overboard. “He’s scared. He thinks he’ll get a dishonorable discharge.” Another spouse told the Guardian that her husband had saved the life of a fellow sailor who was about to jump overboard. At least one sailor who attempted suicide is facing discipline under the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ) Articles 83 (malingering) and 86 (absence without leave). The Navy refused to disclose how many personnel attempted suicide.

The Lincoln, badly rusted and in desperate need of repairs, just left the region. Many toilets didn’t work. There was often no hot water for showers. Drinking water was tainted. Food was severely rationed. Much of the ship was moldy. One spouse told officials that her husband had texted her saying that he “hopes he doesn’t wake up tomorrow.” Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth claimed this was all “fake news” but senior officers later acknowledged that they were, in fact, having extreme difficulties getting any supplies to that ship. NSA Bahrain, it turns out, was a single point of failure for the entire region, with no backup plan.

And I'm old enough to read history and point out that the United States helped overthrow Iran's democratically elected government in 1953 because Iran had nationalized their oil. If we hadn't installed the Shah we might never have had the "Islamic Revolution" and hostage crisis.
