After a few days they usually build out a little arch in the baseboards, making them easier to spot. (Leave a tiny wedge of Swiss cheese just outside)

A small, neatly cut hole in the bottom of a wall, with a half-circle curve at the top. There is a thin cork flooring at the entrance to the hole, and the room inside has a finished wall and flooring.
