And good public charging in both countries thanks to ESB E-Cars in Ireland and Shell Power in the UK. the 1,300km journey cost me less than €40. Sure after leaving the ferry and driving for 3 hours I needed to charge... bt 20 minutes and a cuppa coffee I was good to go again. 2/3

I got over that on my first trip from the west of Ireland to Barnsley in the UK. A journey I have now done twice. It's easy and my EV does not have the longest range (claimed 409km, in reality closer to 360) However with freecharging on the Irish Ferries boats (I recommend Ulysses) 1/3

While I do not in the slightest disagree with the sentiment, it is however not only the US that is suffering. In Ireland fuel is now at record highs of €2.15 per litre. (€8.14 per US Gal).... thats.... $2.44 and $9.24 with todays exchange rates. We hate that Pedo with Dementia too.
