I had the CPC 464 before any console. The Amstrad was a Christmas present in '84 whilst I was at school in London (Crown Woods School). The Megadrive I bought myself (Probably with my maintenance grant 😉) whilst in my first year of University (SDCAT/Plymouth University in Torquay).

So in the tail end of this week we (my wife, son and I) have... Spent Wednesday at Blackpool Pleasure Beach, spent Thursday at The Arcade Club in Bury, and spent 5 hours today at Retrodome in Barnsley. I am now heading home with my son to Ireland thoroughly satisfied.
