one of the reasons I enjoyed covering Pitt so much is that their fan base, by and large, was extremely cool. y'all deserve so much better than this kind of rotten luck. they were setting up to be a playoff team this season

in addition to providing some much-needed stability at a crucial time, I also think Pat Narduzzi is the second-best cultural fit that Pitt has ever had as their coach

270

Craig Meyer @craigmeyer.bsky.social · 20h

I understand basically every frustration Pitt fans have with Pat Narduzzi, but that dude wins 8+ games more often than not, has his teams play with a distinct identity, oversees excellent player development and does it all with a bottom-third NIL budget in the ACC

I may write about it in my newsletter this week, but this whole speculation about Kamario Taylor and the portal is so damn tiresome. it's bad enough when we do it with a player from a small school, but this is a Power Four player at a program he grew up rooting for. just enjoy watching this dude

Louisville football under Jeff Brohm is what it is at this point. gonna go 9-3 or 8-4, have an exciting offense and pull off a big upset, but lose some games as a heavy favorite and never truly build on the momentum of those aforementioned huge upsets
