We're launching our crowdfunder for the Holyrood election campaign next year. Only an SNP win can deliver independence. If elected I'll be a hard working local representative fighting the corner of the communities I represent. Please donate if you can. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/elect-kate...
A photograph of Kate Campbell in front of the Esk in the sunshine.

At the top right it says "Kate Campbell for Edinburgh Eastern, Musselburgh and Tranent".

Underneath this is a QR code and a banner which says:

"Please donate to our campaign"
"Only an SNP win next year can deliver independence" and
"SNP: Always on Scotland's side".

There is also an imprint which says "Promoted by Andy Diack, on behalf of Kate Campbell, both of SNP, Gordon Lamb House, 3 Jackson’s Entry, Edinburgh, EH8 8PJ."

Sums it up. 15 yrs of Westminster austerity has caused misery, public services slashed & benefits cut, anaemic economic growth, fuelling Brexit vote & rise of Reform. Labour promised change but are continuing failed Tory austerity. Scotland's only way for a better future is through independence.

The SNP keeping our promise to families - our budget doesn’t just save holiday hubs for children and young people with additional support needs, it commits £1m to expand them. Labour run the council, we’re calling on them to match our commitment, giving families the support they deserve.

Delighted to get cross-party support for my proposal to investigate how Edinburgh Council can require highly profitable businesses like student accommodation blocks & Airbnbs to pay for commercial waste, rather than being allowed to use domestic services paid for by our Council Tax.

Labour voted against SNP plans for £1bn visitor levy funding for housing, voting with the Tories and Lib Dem’s for 13% of that, just £135m instead. A complete missed opportunity. No leadership, no vision, just keeping the right wing parties on side so they can cling to power.
An image of the SNP Amendment for the Edinburgh Council meeting considering the Visitor Levy. It sets out how the SNP will spend £1 billion on housing from the proceeds of the tourist levy. Positive a visitor levy was agreed today, but also a real missed opportunity. Disappointing that Labour councillors listened to their Tory and Lib Dem pals, only agreeing to £5m for social and affordable housing. The SNP proposal was £20m equal to 1k council houses. What’s the point in Labour?
