Or, I could be wrong about everything, and I'm coping because Zane didn't get screen time... Either way, hyped for Season 4!!

000

I think Cole is going to go on the hunt for Ras, while Zane and Pixel figure out how to bring the Ninja back home from wherever they've ended up via the Portal Gates. Meanwhile, the Ninja are going to learn more about the Sources and Elemental Powers, while exploring the Merged Lands.

Unrelated, but I think I can also predict Cole's arc for S4 as well. At the end of S3, Geo gets roughed up really badly by Ras; Ras then proceeds to kidnap the spirit of Wu. Through DR so far, Cole's journeys have almost exclusively focused on either Wu's spirit, or on Geo and The Finders.

I think that the Ninja getting split up like this will force Zane to continue his research on the Portal Gates, and I believe that his studies will ultimately be the key to bringing the rest of the Ninja home, either at the end of S4P1, or S4P2.

At the end of S3, the three main Ninja teams get split up across the Merged Lands via the Portal Gates. This leaves Cole and The Finders, and Zane and Pixel, left in Ninjago. However, in S1P2, what did Zane do? He spent multiple episodes studying the Portal Gates.

Okay, now that S3P2 is out, I can talk about Zane getting sidelined, and why I THINK there's a good reason for it narratively. Obviously, Zane and Pixel getting cut from this part was a bit of a downer (especially since this season was supposed to "fix Zane"), but I think there's a reason for it.

- We need to talk more about Lloyd’s first vision and the graveyard. Season 1, Part 2, tomorrow! (15/15)

- Sora and Arin using Jordana to break their handcuffs, just like Lloyd did at the start of the season? I love that we get to see them actually learn and use things from Lloyd - What determines if a Dragon speaks telepathically, normally, or doesn’t speak English? - Ras has so much aura (14/15)

- Riyu is important to Ras’ big plan???? WHY. HOW. HE NEEDS RIYU ALIVE. WHY. - The scene with Arin and Sora hanging above Beatrix, LaRow, and Ras is so good. - “We named the dragon Sora.” nice Indiana Jones reference - Ras vs. Sora and Arin is such a good fight (13/15)

- In the Cloud Kingdom, “The fifth source”. What is the fifth source? - Ras is such a good villain. - Wyldfyre’s backstory is so sick. - “I will be the danger” is such a fire line. - The Dragons vs. PHOTAC fight scene is so sick, like pop off animators - Why does Ras want Riyu specifically? (12/15)

- Dr. LaRow gags every time she’s on screen, I need her to return in S4 - Honestly, all of these episodes flow perfectly into one another, like 6-10 feel like one massive episode. - I love Rapton calling Sora’s bluff, this entire scene is so cool (11/15)

- I love Sora’s flashbacks. Also neat attention to detail is you can see Jordana in all of them. - I love Dr. LaRow as a villain — no magic powers, no tragic backstory; just an evil woman, who’s good at what she does. - Zanth also has such a sick design. All the dragons do tbh. (10/15)

- I love Sora learning from Euphrasia. - God I love this show’s fight scenes. Like Euphrasia using her wind to boost Spinjitzu up?? All four EMs using their beams to close the MergeQauke? - The PHOTAC is also such a cool concept, I wish it was utilized further. Like as a tool for the Ninja? (9/15)

- What power is Riyu using in Episode 4?? WHY IS HE SO POWERFUL. - I like that Airjitzu basically still exists, by just giving Spinjitzu very little limitations - So did Ras curse the scroll-worms in relation to any info tangentially related to the Source Dragons? (8/15)

- I like Lloyd having learned something from Sora. - I hope Nya gets a Legends-style show about her adventures to the Cragling village. - So the Cragling mud supercharges Dragons. I feel like that has to come back in some fashion in the future, like an energy source that vast? (7/15)

- So Beatrix and Ras believe that Lloyd connecting with a Dragon Matriarch will directly aid their hunt for Source Dragons? Why? What is the connection there? - Am I allowed to say that I think Dorama’s theater would make a great dark ride at LEGOLAND… (6/15)

- Lloyd connecting Riyu’s appearance to the SD’s causing the Merge seems like foreshadowing. (I am a Riyu = SD believer.) - So can ALL dragons power up EMs, or just really powerful dragons? We know Arc Dragons and Source Dragons can, so does that make Riyu one of those two? (5/15)

- What did Wu do explicitly to cause the Merge? Because it looks like he was trying his best to prevent it. Is it just that he didn't act quick enough? - The Merge is tied to the SDs. In what capacity? Was it the death of Balance? - MergeQuakes are sick as a concept. (4/15)

- I love Sora and Arin's train convo. - Lloyd's entrance is everything. Like 10/10 cliffhanger. - Lloyd has so much aura. Like using the soldier's sword to cut the handcuffs? - I love Arin and Sora's friendship so much. - The Monastery of Spinjitzu looks so gorgeous. (3/15)

- The intro to both the Merge and the Ninja is sick. I love that DR acts as a pure soft reboot, and is a good entry point for new fans. - Arin's wonky-Spinjitzu is such a cool concept. Also Arin's grappling hook is cool. Arin is just cool. - Ras' introduction is so sick. (2/15)
