So I've mentioned on and off that I go out trash collecting, but it hasn't been something I've shared much of. Well, this one's a bit too fun not to share, I found a spot with a load of trash but it's a bit far away, so I figured out how to rig up my bike to pull the wagon there to save time.

I've been thinking on and off about what makes the difference between something feeling like security vs an excuse to impose authoritarianism. And it is the interconnectivity that feels like it makes the difference, once everything's combined into a network it no longer exists for your benefit.

I love how one of the few legacy screenshots I have from the Brawl in the Forums Minecraft server was the time I accidentally lifted an entire town like 10 meters off the ground. Worst day for me on the server, REALLY funny in retrospect and I wish I had more pictures.

The image speaks for itself. All I'll add is if you somehow stumble on this, using Unity, unable to get a Camera that sends visuals to a Render Texture to render at the correct aspect ratio (and seemingly only in builds!) this might be the simple fix...

A simple C# script condensed so everything is in one single line out of pure spite as all it does is set the aspect ratio of a Camera every frame because at some point Unity broke something or idk. In the past a Camera set with a Render Texture would seemingly render properly at the needed aspect ratio, and even right now it does it correctly in the editor, but in builds? Nope! No matter what setting I set it would not work in builds! So this solution seems to work. Insult to injury it seems you need to run Camera.aspect every frame or it sets it back.

Recently I was helping Lymm with their map viewer project, and as a result I kinda went a bit mad and pixel-art-ed the entirety of Noita's Biome Map. Each chunk is 16x16 pixels, very minimalist! #noita #pixelart
