I’ve never been a fan of windswept terrain but wow it definitely looks a lot nicer with other biomes on it it doesn’t help that the two kinds of windswept biomes have some of the weakest color palettes in vanilla imo

Haven’t heard many people talk about it but man I cannot get enough of the MC Dungeons 2 soundtrack. The Dungeons 1 ost was not bad by any means but 2 feels so much more Minecraft-y. Even more cinematic tracks like boss themes have so much shared dna with vanilla’s BGM and it’s so fun to listen to

As a SMB2 expert this is a horrible enclosure for Wart. The squinting eyes and bared teeth are an obvious tell that he is under extreme stress and likely suffocating in his own ammonia.

i feel like contact damage is a good and for the most part necessary mechanic i just hate when a boss repositioning itself is a more dangerous attack than the boss’s actual attacks that have animations to them. It always feels kinda cheap to me

Hot take but I think an “end drop” the size of 1.21.5 would be perfect. The end isn’t in need of a significant new draw like the nether was pre-1.16, it just needs some visual interest, and i feel like that could be accomplished by a relatively small amount of new blocks used tastefully

The poplar trees in the new Minecraft trailer are different looking than what we got in game? Idk if it was an artistic choice or if the trailer was made early in development but i kinda love them…

Fun fact! Donkey Kong was originally going to throw burning dogs in the 1981 arcade game but they changed to barrels late in development. The original burning dog sprites were modified into the fire enemies that appear in other levels, and the dog bark sfx were repurposed as mario’s walking sounds!
