I actually don't think the Republican Senator mixed up "Hawks" and "Hawkeyes." Going by his own statements, it appears his staff saw he went to a basketball game on that date and googled basketball games and found the only men's game that night in the whole country was in Atlanta.

On my 1st watch I found episode 1 very challenging to get through. The intimate scenes were titillating and very sexy, but I couldn't identify with either lead and wasn't really sure where it was all going. I heard watching at least the first 2 episodes was key, and by the end of 2 I was hooked.

Trevor Noah gave a great real-life story about this in an interview, when he took a woman back to her place and she said she was very tipsy, so he insisted he had to leave, because she really couldn't consent at that point.

The "this is your brain on drugs" was probably seen far more often and could be cut into a shorter clip for different length ads, while the "I learned it by watching you" had a story to tell that couldn't be cut down as easily.

Those corporations are doing exactly what they have to do in a market - cut costs to the bone. If they don't, competitors will. Expecting ethical corporations is like using abstinence education to end teen pregnancy. We have to build markets that can't be rigged. Socialism makes capitalism work.

Economies grow when demand increases. Demand increases when large numbers buy more stuff or do more things. Progressive policies both make markets work better & ensure consumers - i.e. working & middle classes - have the means to thrive. The rich are still rich AND they get more options to invest.
