Bumping this up for anyone who missed it 💕 I'll keep this account up for a while but might delete at some point...🤔

Casey 🌧️ @cparrisart.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

So, yeah. I’m not really going anywhere, just cutting ties with this username. A fresh coat of paint on my withered husk ✨ See you around! 💫

I’ve been thinking a lot about my presence on the web. I used to think I wanted to stop posting anything and disappear. But I realized that mostly, I regret turning my name into a handle. I don’t want local people to find me anymore. “Real life” and “online” have merged too much and I don’t like it!

Casey 🌧️ @cparrisart.bsky.social · 31/03/2026

⚠️ Please read! ⚠️ I’m moving to a new handle! Friends&mutuals: I'll follow you on my new account, and unfollow you from this one! Keep an eye out 💖 No link because I don’t want it to have any connection to this account. Sorry! (continued below)

who am i to you diptych for an anthology

portrait of Jack from my comics THE SOLAR SYSTEM and BIRTH OF THE SUN. he is a young trans man, lifting up his shirt to wipe sweat from his face, looking off to the right. he is bordered by a mashrabiya frame with a sweeping desert and clouds in the background

portrait of Dan from my comics THE SOLAR SYSTEM, BIRTH OF THE SUN, and BOY SKIN. he is an older trans man, shirtless, arm raised, face obscured by it, hand in his long hair. he is looking out at the viewer. he is bordered by a mashrabiya frame with a sweeping desert and clouds in the background

Waaaah I love him so much aieeee!! 🥰 That "I'm surrounded by idiots" vibe is my favorite. 😂💘 Also his lil throat window... tantalizing, like a victorian lady's exposed ankle. 👀😂

Awwww you are so sweet waaaah 😭😭😭💖 I can't take commissions for the foreseeable future because of my health :( It's been getting worse and worse for a year, I can barely keep up with basic life stuff 😔 I really warms my heart that you thought of me though, thank you!! 🥰🥰

Casey 🌧️ @cparrisart.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

lmao you can always count on me to get pissed about something like file types. 🤝 Now if only there was an easy way for google images. I had a browser extension but Brave removed it for containing malware 😭

Casey 🌧️ @cparrisart.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Omg wait, that's an outdated method. Now there are three little dots in the top left that let you "download image"!!! And btw apparently when you "save" an image on mobile, it's not webp. Curse of the webp continues, but at least bsky got rid of it pretty quick :D

140

Casey 🌧️ @cparrisart.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Just learned you can add @jpeg to the end of a bsky image url to make it a jpeg instead of a fucking goddamn cursed webp. ✨

btw if your "for you" feed is sprinkled with animals on trail cams, that's because of me. You're welcome.

The end is nigh for my old instagram... I'm almost done backing up what I want to preserve. Lots of fond memories even tho I hated it there ❤️ Many inking/painting videos if you're interested, including ones from before I joined twitter. Might put 'em on my website someday, but I doubt it (lazy).

I LOVE her so much, she's so cute and silly 😭💕

In your recording software there may be a way to skew the video to compensate for perspective... I used to have my camera to the side and use some kinda skew tool (in OBS I think?) to make it look like it was directly above. That, or maybe your camera lens is the issue? Longer is better I think.

Y'know I really want FOSS to be the answer, but I just discovered a life-ruining bug in the only Excel alternative I can tolerate. 😭🫠 I don't use Windows anymore, I'm usually too ill to sit at my Linux pc, & the laptop I use in bed is a Mac so Excel sucks on it. lol what now, google sheets? *barf*

000

Casey 🌧️ @cparrisart.bsky.social · 11/03/2026

Yeah! And it has these little black and white illustrations :) Gortash appears in it sometimes, including a funny one of him bleeding all over his desk (if the player murders him) 😂

What about that one where the characters are like. Marble statues of Roman gods? 😂 I don't really remember how funny it was but it sure was something.

I also like Signos, the ink is great and they're more reliable than other gel pens, but they do still clog sometimes (especially if you don't use it for a long time).

Likewise, I get very stressed seeing comments other people have left that are worded so badly or use slang or sarcasm and I'm like don't you people KNOW what google translate will do to your message 😭😫

Sam!!! You are so good at this! They look amazing! :D I started knitting specifically so I could make things from Degen patterns, maybe you'd like them too? degen.us/collections/... (I am nowhere near skilled enough to make these, but you probably are! 😂)
