Can I ask who's hating on Dapple though? I've only seen glowing praise for her but maybe that's just my experience 🤔

I can relate to that all too well. My sleep schedule's been completely fucked the last few months and I've been struggling with a lack of energy basically that whole time... So sorry to read about it 💔

Apparently today is Thanksgiving for Canadian folks. Never really kept track of when that happens admittedly and I feel a bit guilty about that cause I love EVERYONE in that country 😅 I hope you are all having a wonderful day up there! ❤️

In Sonic Generations, the levels Speed Highway and City Escape feature all sorts of advertisements for several characters. The latter stage reveals that Blaze owns a coffee shop, while Tails owns a pizza parlor.

The games in question that I was referring to are Boom Blox and Boom Blox Bash Party. But even then they were directed by Steven Spielberg so I guess in that regard they kinda got carried 😅

It's so ironic that the company that has like, one of the coolest names for any that exist in the video game industry that made two of my favorite games that I've ever played in my life less than 20 years ago, is now regarded as one of the worst out there... The falloff needs to be studied.

The way Gen AI filth has been working its way into everything I try to use or consume is starting to genuinely depress the shit out of me. And I hate how the passive consumer population is all-in on it because it's literally just the easiest "easy button" they've ever pressed.

Didn't really sleep too well last night so I think that I'm gonna call it early today. Thanks again to those who showed up to my stream today and to everyone who helped me to reach 8,000 subscribers on YouTube! I still can't believe that it actually happened and couldn't be more grateful ❤️

Well tbh by the end of NSMBU I was getting kinda frustrated because I mean yeah obviously the last few levels are supposed to be the hardest but I feel like I had a lot of stupid deaths that could have been easily prevented. I even died in the Bowser battle which I said was easy .-.

courtemanche437 @courtemanche437.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

But yeah thank you so much for your kind words Beck! I have no idea when I'm going to stream again and what but maybe I can figure something out before the end of the month. I can tell you tho that I'll probably be wanting to do a lot more Wii/Wii U streams eventually now that I can do it again! :D

CiaooDee is a pretty well-known VTuber within the Sonic community. She just went live about half an hour ago although again I thought that was going to be much sooner, but TBH, I don't even know if I wanted a lot of people watching my rubbish NSMBU gameplay anyways ._.

courtemanche437 @courtemanche437.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

It's okay, to be honest, I was kinda disappointed that I didn't really get the turnout that I expected in general, but if people were busy like yourself, then I don't blame them for that. I kinda expected to be competing against CiaooDee's stream anyways cause I thought it started at 3 for me...

110

courtemanche437 @courtemanche437.bsky.social · 10/10/2026

That's okay, you didn't really miss much to be honest. I played New Super Mario Bros. U pretty badly the closer that I got to the end of the game and when I started to make some music, I wasn't really feeling it like I was expecting to. I'm glad that you were at least interested however 😅

Always remember if there is a game you are having a lot of fun with, always ignore those that just want to hate on it. If you are having fun, that's all that matters 😀

Many don't seem to get that decomps are basically made by the most obsessed fans of a game, for the most obsessed fans of a game. Code that is subtly off in lots of different ways is the opposite of what they want. Not to mention the awful "prose".
