It's a great demonstration of how tech (video editing in this case) can extend one's skills into another discipline. Here, someone who cannot "play" piano or drums is clearly still a musician. #edusky

As #edusky & other BlueSky teacher communities emerge, it's worth remembering that many educators left Twitter well before the Elon et. al toxicity period. Excessive self-promotion, lack of professional benefit, stress/burnout, noise, erosion of dialogue, etc. were all factors. Let's learn and grow.

A continuation of the "no significance difference" phenomenon observed at the turn of the century. eric.ed.gov?id=ED586825 The problem with this, however, is that these are assessments of very traditional pedagogical approaches vs. using edtech to reimagine education. Poor pedagogy = poor pedagogy.

This isn’t surprising. Students do better with the tech than without. Then the tech is taken away and students don’t perform as well. It’s the story of calculators. Here, AI was introduced as a crutch, then there is surprise and shock that students depended on it as a crutch.
