An original fantasy illustration of user COUNTERLUN's characters. Maudex, a young lady sphinx with mostly human resemblance, stands to the right of Gerbero, an older, upright standing griffin with the hind legs and tail of a lion and a human upper body, as he appears to walk beside or circle her. They wear south Balkan-esque attire. Gerbero's entire figure is outlined and colored with white and light pinkish-yellow hues, depicting his presence as something like an entity. His face is obscured by the red outline of a wolf's head, looking down upon Maudex, one arm extended out as if he is announcing something to her while his other hand remains on his hip. The apples run up the side of the artwork Maudex stands on, from top to bottom the apples show varying stages of being eaten. Outlined with red in the same manner as the wolf obscuring Gerbero's face, these elements show how Maudex is made to feel in the moment.
