Now the escape is making what I can only describe as "the sound a vibrator would make inside of an empty tin can" when I idle. I replaced the brakes and the tires earlier this year so I can only imagine something else is falling off (it's a 2012). I'll be surprised if it lasts through the winter. 😭

We're still two months out from the surgery and I'm already becoming a mess. I'm sure I'll pull it all together and put on a strong face when the time comes, but I'm already falling apart at the seams and we haven't even started yet. So if I've vanished outside of stupid posting, that's why. Sorry.

Needing to take her to PT. Needing to take the kid to school and pick him up from school. Needing to take him to the doctor, and her to the doctor, and therapy. Needing to also work full time during that time period. All of this during the holiday season too. Have to make it work. No choice.

Work still hasn't approved the budget, so my promotion is still hanging in the air where it's been for a year and a half now. Wife is having knee replacement surgery in under 2 months and that means that for 2 months after, I am taking on a vast majority of the responsibility around here.

I have also kinda dipped from all of my non-work related responsibilities, which isn't fair to some people, but I don't think can balance a lot right now. I have some friends who would love to play through the whole story and would like to do so once they complete it (if they actually do). I feel like the cheated on spouse being told it'll be different this time. This is just the same cycle of "we messed up, here's what you wanted" repeated.

Kinda feel its a bit too little, too late for the Destiny 2 announcement they just made. Being able to go back and play the old campaigns is great, but they already burned the playerbase and it'll be hard to trust them now. Not that it matters for me, I can't run it on Linux anyhow due to BattleEye

Oh man the Resident Evil movie was amazing. I went in figuring it's Creggar so it would be good but I didn't imagine it to be *that* good (and really fucking funny to boot). Kinda mixed a bunch of RE games into the film but I think it's the first time I've seen a video game film FEEL like a game.

Not a permanent change because I really like Elezen Sig, but it's the end of the expansion and I kinda wanted to dink around with him some. So here he is, as a cat boy. I actually really like this. The Keeper of the Sun run animation is so much less stiff than the Elezen one lol.

Linnea Quigley’s character “Trash” in Return of the Living Dead is pretty much this. She’s attractive and trying to get everyone to find her sexy but she’s kinda off putting and her entire friend group is absolutely not having it. Also a neat satire horror flick if you haven’t seen it.
