What's crazy is that he was actually pretty unpopular and on his way to sub 50% approval numbers before 9/11. That jump was INSANE and people have seemed to forget about it. The USA lost its goddamned mind in 2001. He would have been a single term president if not for 9/11.

Got to the pro-shop and picked up all new gear. Promptly hurt myself in the first ball of the first frame 😂 Powered through the have and got a new high score despite hobbling to the line and not being able to fully follow through. Going to heal up and be ready next week. I'm excited to try again

Went bowling for the 1st time in about 20 years. 1st physical activity I've done since I got sick in '20. I'm really bummed out about blood money coming into the fighting game scene. I was so excited about the VF5 REVO release on Steam that I built a new arcade stick complete with custom art. Stopped playing when Sega included a Saudi rep saying they were excited to be involved in their big sizzle reel.

I originally created an account and promptly left, similar to your experience. Since returning a few months ago, my experience has been entirely with the Mastodon app for Android and their web client. It seems every bit as straightforward as other social media these days imo
