King's Field 4 randomizer dev is going well, I honestly only need logic things so... Gonna have to replay basically everything to see what item is gated behind what key or trigger, implement the logic, test a bit - mostly via spoiler logs, and it's good to go. Maybe randomize the shops if I can

I want to have stuff available like a list of items you should find per map at least, ideally which barrel it's hidden in etc. Smashing 100 barrels to find 3 items isn't that fun, maybe I can color them at some point... Starting gear/level will be tweakable, and QoL like turn speed as well

I also need to implement the higher turn speed/the alternate control scheme someone made using a pnach cheat file (basically puts strafe on left joystick and right joystick is regular camera), makes the game much more enjoyable imo.

I still want to tinker more. I think players need Myu's Necklace and King's Map as options for starting equipment, as well as a higher base level (since level 1 is very painful/slow start) Game's softlock prevention on the initial fire crystal still works, you just need 5MP to exit starting area

Spent the last 2 days reverse engineering King's Field 4 so I could make a randomizer and more. Modding a PS2 ISO is ANNOYING. No logic randomizer finally works. I found super cool stuff like config files devs used to test high level characters, with their names in it and stuff.
