I've been digging #Loftia ☀️☁️🌱

This is a screenshot from the game Loftia. A Loftian named cosmegos is sitting on a blue striped pillow among other pillows (light purple, plaid purple and green, and dark green) laid out on a light blue picnic blanket. There is also a picnic basket. She has short wavy blurple hair with a fringe, brown eyes, and freckles with some light pink blush. She is wearing a headband with two green leaves on it, a blurple hoodie, a pair of dark grey sweatpants, and a pair of sneakers with a combination of the two aforementioned colors. The laces on the sneakers are white. Next to her is a stuffed light brown chinchilla with cream accents. In the background is a lovely scenery of trees (a large one furthest away with bright pink leaves), stars, grass, flowers, and pails pouring water into the lake. The lake also has a waterfall starting from somewhere near the bright pink tree. There are a few wooden docks and bridges. There is also a research station nearby on the left side of the image. Further in the back than the bright pink leafed tree is the Hanging Gardens Port, with an arch structure - this port has an airtram that will transport you to other locations. Loftia's UI shows that it is a beta and it's a work in progress, the time of day in the game (6:45pm), FPS of 16, ping of 66, and several buttons along the top of the screen. The buttons are for the inventory, customization of the Loftian, a list of quests, the map, emote selection, and main menu. On the bottom of the screen is a button for text chat and an interface showing what the Loftian has in her hands at the moment. It is currently empty.

Hubble marks its 36th anniversary with a shimmering close-up of star-formation in the Trifid Nebula! Tiny, actively forming stars are eating and spewing material all around. (One at top left in brown, and two fiery red jets.) Explore it all: news.stsci.edu/4cvi5jL

$A tightly cropped Hubble view of a vast star-forming region known as the Trifid Nebula. The top left is bright blue. Brown and amber colors run from top right through the center in irregular, overlapping lines to the bottom-center. At bottom right, the view is almost black. Tiny, amber-colored stars appear throughout the scene. Toward the left there is a prominent brown shape that looks like a head with two horns. The left horn points left and is wavy. The right horn is triangular and points up. The brown dust continues, flowing down, as if along a back, and up toward the top right. A prominent line, about the same length as the left horn, appears below the middle of the body, and changes from orange to red. A small, separate semi-transparent pillar is left of the head. A few slightly larger, blue foreground stars with four diffraction spikes appear sprinkled throughout.$

One of the most surreal skies I have ever witnessed, as vibrantly blue undulatus asperatus clouds rolled over the St. Mark's Lighthouse at sunset to create this dreamy scene. #Photography

A neighbor’s cat really likes this corner of our house. I managed to get a photo before they started rolling around on their back this morning!

A grey cat is curled up in a corner of the house outside, resting on some brown leaves and mulch. The cat’s head is up and their eyes are slightly open, revealing a light green color.

I forgot there was a football thing going on until my child (1st grade) brought this home from school on Friday - I guess we're rooting for the Seahawks too!

This is a scan of a first grade worksheet asking which team will win the big game. There is some coloring on it that was done by the student. The worksheet is titled THE BIG GAME: WHICH TEAM WILL WIN? - THE is colored orange, BIG is colored purple, and GAME is colored yellow. There is a football to the right of the title that is colored blue, purple, red, and yellow. There is a helmet with a star on it below the title that is colored blue and purple. There is a table showing a tally of votes for each team, Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. Seahawks has 11 votes, and Patriots has 7 votes. There is a series of questions below the tally: 1) Who do you think will win? Seahawks; 2) How many people voted for the Seahawks? 11; 3) How many people voted for the Patriots? 7; 4) How many votes were there in all? 18. There is a graph to the right of the questions showing 11 blue colored boxes for Seahawks and 7 purple colored boxes for Patriots. There is a goal post colored grey at the bottom left corner and a foam finger (not colored) near the bottom center of the worksheet.

Whoa, we have the same combination of 3 cats! How often does that happen?

Three cats are gathered together near a fireplace with the fire going. The cat sitting upright in the back is a brown tabby. Next to the brown tabby is a black cat lying down. There is a small cat toy that resembles a sock with light pink and white stripes. The sock has a smiley face on it. In front of both cats, a calico cat is resting in a cardboard box. Behind the cats, there is a cat bed with a tent and a hanging toy, and a small yellow Squishmallow.

A sisal rope post and a small tier of a grey/beige cat tree is also visible on the right side of the photo.

I watched my father pass away from COVID almost four years ago. He didn’t have a will. He was 64. Both of his parents were in their 80s and still alive at the time. He would say “not my problem.” It was a nightmare going through everything for probate. A will makes things easier for your loved ones.
