This is 40% of the rendered animation, then the finished video will be used for another animation afterwards.

Showing off how and what (only what works so far) with this project. The logic of how it works in Construct 2 (a now outdated program) is a bit tedious to deal with, but the concept is there and given enough time working on this, should eventually be in working order and published online somewhere.

Found this painted shellac record (circa 1934) at a thrift store in town that's closing down soon. www.discogs.com/master/20360...

Photo of a starry night sky, looking upwards from below, with a full moon and trees encircling around the centre of the shellac record that it was painted on.

Photo of the reverse side of the record, His Master's Voice (HMV) / Victor label:

Vilia (From the film "The Merry Widow") (Hart-Lehar-Stothart). Jeanette Macdonald. Soprano with Orchestra. Conducted by Herbert Stothart. 24729-B.

The piece of the record has cracked off and been glued back together.

All set up & working well. The tape from Sea King / Roman Statue (previously bought @ noviticindustries.bandcamp.com/merch), the Planet Express ship art is from @sidvicious.ca, And the astronomical clock on the wall was bought on Etsy some time ago. The speakers match my new bedframe (a nice touch).

Photo of a Sony bookshelf stereo with speakers, antenna, and a remote. A relic of a cassette case is beside it, with the tape being played to test the deck on the stereo. To the left is a box styled as an old Nintendo Entertainment System (used to store hard drives and USB items). On the wall is a framed water colour of the Planet Express from Futurama.

Photo of a Sony Micro Hi-fi Component System (CMT-EH15) with speakers, antenna, and a remote. A relic of a cassette case is beside it, with the tape being played to test the deck on the stereo, and the bottom of framed art.

Photo of a partially ruined cassette casing, with the insert standing up and presented to the camera, Sea King / Roman Statue (Jake Newcomb), from Novitic Records (cheers to my pal Pat)

Photo of one of the speakers of the stereo system, seen from the side, with a finished black wood style to it, matching the top of a headboard on which it sits. Also visible is the front of the stereo, the antenna on top, a framed image, and a wall clock styled after Prague Orloj astronomical clock.

Found another video with an Ocarina of Time soundfont that I don't think I've uploaded anywhere before. Avril 14th MIDI. The animation itself is a means to an end just to have something audioreactive to go along with the audio.

I only recently found the drive that had this menu project files on it. The remake doesn't have the same menu, so maybe it's time to finish of the project. Also, the colour and tone on the cover art for the Ocarina of Time remake are close to my avatar.

Ended up buying a Sony CMT-EH15 instead of that CMT-NEZ30 model. It was around 25% less in price and the black speakers match all the furniture that I've got now.

Photo of a Sony CMT-EH15, a bookshelf stereo system with a Cassette, CD, Radio, and AUX IN port. Imaged with the system is an aerial antenna above. As seen and bought via eBay.

Looked up how to pronounce ocarina and the etymology. Found out it was a word from the Italian inventor who made the modern form of the instrument, comes to mean 'little goose.' After that, recalled that these little guys are called oocca and the shape of their heads are reminiscent of the ocarina.

For the first time since I've self-published them and had one or a few physical copies printed of each of them, all four books have been assembled. The exclusion, the quintessence, is the one I physically printed out myself to practice bookbinding with. www.blurb.ca/user/CosmEff...

Turntable works, hue sync lights and bridge work, raspberry pi works. Went through everything I got out of my apartment, wiped it all down, disinfected, and sorted it all down to less than half the boxes it was all in. Everything I own can now fit into a small closet, but its also all meaningful.

Could have had this on the 5th, but I went to pick up my mail just today at my now derelict address where I had it delivered to.

Sharing the photos of the CD I still have of this, which was ironically (?) not (!) LOST IN THE FIRE.

Recovered all my albums today. www.discogs.com/user/cosmeff... Out of everything I had, this cookie made for a @kidkoala.bsky.social Nufonia Must Fall show in New Westminster in 2024 had the most damage to it. If that's the worst of it, let the cookie crumble as it may.

Bluetech - Phoenix Rising (Remastered) bluetech.bandcamp.com/album/phoeni...

Photo of a sealed vinyl album, Phoenix Rising (Remastered, 2021) from Bluetech.

An older photo but it remains intact as it is here after retrieving it from my apartment post-fire, from the ashes (not many ashes inside my particular place, amazingly).

Added a logo to astronomi.ca/account now that I have my laptop again. Really amazing how no fire, smoke, water, or physical damage in my apartment affected it in the least, especially since it was against the wall of the neighbouring unit were the fire started. Keyboard had an issue, but it's fixed.
