So heads up, everyone: if a high-school student applies to Cornell, it's quite possible that their data & essays will, w/o their knowledge/consent, wind up in the hands of the federal govt (& shared among various agencies). We'd love Cornell to prove us wrong on this. Not just make an empty claim.

Only 6.6% of contactable alumni voted in last year's election. And the 4-page doc w/data on 2025 trustee elections didn't even mention this turnout %. 6.6% of alumni voting embarrassingly low. And it's been low for years, so the ppl in charge apparently don't think it's worth trying to change this.
