Moiré materials for superconductivity, quantum effects, etc. were historically very hard to make. Cornell researchers, with help from @cornellccmr.bsky.social, just simplified it by removing stacking and twisting to enable better electronics, quantum tech, sensitive detectors, etc. bit.ly/4vN4RXR
