Im #TVDuell suggeriert Friedrich #Merz, dass das Abschalten der #Kernkraftwerke in 🇩🇪 für höhere Strompreise und mit für den Wirtschaftsabschwung gesorgt hätte. Korrekt ist: Das Abschalten der Kernkraftwerke hatte keine sichtbaren Auswirkungen auf die Strompreise.

Research on candidates' use of negative campaining focuses on characteristics of the sponsor of NC. We know less about the impact of the targets' characteristics or contextual factors of the campaign. Moreover, these factors are often studied in isolation. In a new pub, we aim to fill this gap
