Today I was only 1% dependent on the grid. I think it's the first day we were fully powered by solar and BESS. Even topped off the charge on the EV in the middle of the day!

I've been geeking out for the first 2 weeks since our @enphaseenergy.bsky.social #Solar and #BESS system has been installed. I find the differences in patterns to be really interesting and beautiful. I'm still tweaking consumption settings and integrations, we'll see how it averages out later.

This MLK,Jr quote is more relevant than ever today: "People fail to get along with each other because they fear each other. They fear each other because they don't know each other. They don't know each other because they have not properly communicated with each other." #MLKDay

Whoo-hoo! My #solar and #BESS system was energized today! Just 2 days before the deadline of EOY for the tax credit qualification. Of course it's a cloudy day but looking forward to watching the performance tomorrow when it's sunny. #CleanEnergy #Renewables #ClimateTech

I enjoy reading about innovative science but headlines like this are not helpful. They give less attentive readers the false believe that a breakthrough is eminent that will lead to “infinite” #energy. It’s click bait.

This chart from @modoenergyusa.bsky.social is great and really clearly demonstrates the economics of #BESS and how developers and operators decide what the market signals are for short vs longer term batteries in the market.
