In the story world, there was a secret war and Caldyr really looks up to some of the warriors. Athena, Morgan Le Faye, and Artemis (deceased) are her favorites. The war lasted from 1913 until 1966 and Caldyr has a few secret histories including access to some film from the era. #AwesomeCharacters

Usually it’s pretty late in the game, she likes to end fights quick. Most of the time she sticks to not-human fights herself anyway to avoid hurting people too bad so they know she’s got some juice before the fight starts.

Caldyr wants to be a boxer. There isn’t a lotta opportunity for a 4’7 fighter though and also she’s inhumanly strong with 1 gallon (10 pound) hands so that complicates sports. She excels in combat so she’d be good. Methodical, clever, and able to read opponents accurately. #AwesomeCharacters

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Caldyr is kind of based in every detective I’ve ever loved (which is most all of them) so curiosity is a big part of her. Actually she takes it a little far at times. Fox Mulder is a favorite of mine too and he definitely inspired her more fanatical side. #AwesomeCharacters

In theory, honor means a lot to Caldyr, she all about truth and justice, but in practice some rules might be flexible. Caldyr would be hard on herself at first, but Vanth is a horrible enabler who would help a (good hearted) friend justify anything to make her feel better. #AwesomeCharacters

Caldyr doesn’t wear any jewelry for most of the series. She grows and shrinks with magic and jewelry is harder to change. The metal might be resistant too which can cause all sorts of problems. Her natural height is 7 inches and an earring can be a dagger at that height. #AwesomeCharacters

Caldyr is going to my favorite taco place in LA which is also hers (although she doesn’t eat there until book 4.) She’d get a few arrachera tacos, plus some harder to find things like lengua, visceras, and chicharrones. It’s not expensive but she would spend so much money. #AwesomeCharacters

Went to the store yesterday and tried to tell the grocer he got his parsnips and his turnips mixed up. And he went to AI with it. Which did tell him the parsnip was a turnip. I pointed to the box, labeled parsnip, and it was clear he knew it was wrong but he just walked away. I hate the future.
