![Screenshot from the Patagonia v. Pattie Gonia lawsuit, that reads "Consumers are already confused about whether Pattie Gonia [drag queen] is affiliated with Patagonia. For example, consumers have made the following comments in response to Pattie Gonia's social media posts:" and they include screenshots of some comments from one of the drag performer's Instagram posts, reading
"It looks like Patagonia has it together. I'll happily spend my money there"
"Last sumer former Patagonia eco David Olsen came through my coffee shop he was so nice and complimented the boutique!"
"Yep. If Patagonia ever falls I'm gonna cry. Yes, it's expensive but their warranty is literally the best. I have my dad's gear from the 80s that they have/will repair."
"I genuinely though this was a Patagonia ad for too long... or is it?"
"Love you patagonia, you're amazing. Thank you for protecting our parks."](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:n3xj7spkbxyroq6svxtqnaxz/bafkreift5jvn5nae5e6kclx5algpjtm74w2g3za5bh6ckompfpgttjktla)
![A screenshot from the lawsuit from Patagonia (corporation) against Pattie Gonia (drag queen). The highlight section reads "[Drag queen Pattie Gonia] has adopted and used... a nearly-identical copy of Patagonia's PATAGONIA word mark - to identify the Defendants as the source of... support of environment sustainability and LGBTQIA2S+ equality, organizing community sporting and cultural events, organizing, arranging, and conducting trail and hiking events, entertainment services in the nature of live musical performance, and music recordings. These uses of the Pattie Gonia [drag queen] brand inevitably imply to consumers that Patagonia has endorsed or authorized these products and services".
At the bottom of the page are some screenshots of the drag queen Pattie Gonia's merch for comparison. And if you're using a screen reader to read this, I'll just editorialize that, to me, they don't bear any identifiable resemblance to the trademarked Patagonia brand.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:n3xj7spkbxyroq6svxtqnaxz/bafkreigvjs2e522drctxp2vkxgxfv5shwfniaydlxxquxchk5rdqegajim)
