The Urban Legend in Arizona That Just Won’t Die
If you've spent any amount of time on various blogs about Arizona, you've probably heard it before: once upon a time, a group of Apaches was killed while sheltering in a cave near what is now Two Guns. Navajo fighters set the mouth of the cave ablaze, and 42 died as a result. It's one of those Arizona urban legends that won't go away, and there's just one problem: there's no evidence it ever happened.

Arizona is Home to Not One but TWO Particularly Legendary McDonald’s Restaurants
Perhaps by now you’ve heard of (or driven past) the legendary green McDonald’s located in Sedona, Arizona. When the McDonald’s corporation approached Sedona about opening a restaurant on the west end in 1993, the town wasn’t thrilled with the idea of bright gold arches interrupting the serenity of the landscape. So, a solution was found: instead of the trademark yellow arches and building accents, Sedona’s store would feature teal-green ones.
