What might a sequel to Bloodborne look like? Should we return to the dim streets of Yharnam, or venture somewhere else entirely? Will we fight our way through the ending with the waking world, or discover what it means to ascend? What Trick Weapons might we wield? Which nightmares might we explore, and what insights might we divine therein? No restrictions were imposed for this competition. Artists could depict locations, enemies, bosses, weapons and characters to their heart's content.

There's something special about the lead-up to a new FromSoftware game release. The promise of new hardships to overcome and a new world to explore is tantalizing, to say the least. FromSoftware can be notoriously tight-lipped in their marketing for new releases (see: Elden Ring).
The hype was real for fans of the studio, who had at this point come to expect a regular stream of games from the Japanese developer. A cinematic trailer was an auspicious sign indeed – surely the game was nearing completion. We couldn’t wait.

There are five worlds to explore in Demon's Souls. Boletaria Castle, the Stonefang Tunnels, the Tower of Latria, the Valley of Defilement, and the Shrine of Storms. But hang on ... that's six Archstones! Thus, there must be six worlds. Indeed, cut content left in the game's files reveals that a world called the "Northern Limit" was cut early in development. Thanks to the efforts of modders and hackers, this cut content has been extensively showcased, exposing fans to a selection of beastmen, human mimics, a giant yeti, and more.

Every time I see people do a skip into Lower Undead Burg it's always some convoluted trick when you can just literally just jump down before the first fog gate (the one slight before the drake jumpscares you) No quit-outs, no running past 30 enemies, nothing fancy in the slightest ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Why isn't figure Sif wielding the sword? When you save young Sif in Oolacile before fighting them as an adult, the cutscene changes. They sniff at you, recognize you and let out a pained howl. Only then do they reluctantly pick up the sword starting the fight. @warhuan.bsky.social Link in reply👇
