Can’t believe i almost forgot to suggest the Cummer Museum on Riverside Ave as a nice option to gaze on wonderful art before we all get our faces melted downtown on Friday night.

And if you stick around Saturday (or maybe even on your way out), check out the Riverside Arts Market at Riverside Ave under I10. Among other wonderful things there is a punny pie shop called Mixed Fillings. That lady makes amazing pie and sells at the market on Saturdays by the slice.

Coming to Jax for #Phish and you want to find local goodness. Unfortunately this town is absurdly spread out so you will need a vehicle, but that said, i would suggest seeking out as lunch or general meal options: The French Pantry St Gabriels Bakery Pinegrove Market Blue Boy Sandwiches Surfwiches

Raining? Options get more limited. There is a public skate park on Park St under I-10 that gets covered by the highway, so if you have skates or a board, maybe that’s an option. Love books? There’s a Chamblin bookmine down town, and the one on Roosevelt is massive. Could spend a day there easy.

Driving to Jax to see #Phish? Wondering how to spend your time when not on lot? there is a high likelihood of rain most of the day, but if no rain, explore the parks. There is one at the site of the old Landing (by the Main St bridge) that celebrates the musicians that have come out of Jax.

Went last Sunday and got Brown Eyed Women with Tyler Ballgame sitting in and later in the set a cover of Me and Bobby Mcgee. And the rest of the show was top notch Jacket for me as well.

If you’ve seen the movies, yes TNG. Be prepared for the first season to be a bit rough, the second to be a bit smoother, and the third to be where they hit their stride. when you move on to DS9 (something i very much recommend) it’ll be similar for seasons 1, 2, & 3 in this regard.
