♿️ The most overly confident disabled woman in America. Mark Hamill once told me I had pretty eyes and I'll never shut up about it. As seen in Buzzfeed, The BBC, New York Magazine, & most forebodingly, TMZ linktr.ee/Cooperstreaming

Haha, yeah a lot of my viral ones still circulate the content accounts pretty frequently. My cousin said that one time their friend was posting a quote or something they found inspirational and he was like yeah that is my cousin 😄

Absolutely. This is part of why I am involved. I think it's helpful to have someone a step or two removed from the most immediate grief to help handle logistical things. It's just so much to handle both emotionally and logistically for people who have just experienced a loss

Thank you, yes. My friend noted that her dad's peers may be elderly, so I'm trying to take that into consideration with everything from how far it is from a parking space to the minute they get into their seats, as well as the comfort of the seats, accessibility for disability, etc

lol. It is both public knowledge and in my legal wishes regarding my death that I be placed into a Folgers coffee can and thrown off a hill while someone screams about Vietnam but most people don't get the reference

Some people will never show on time no matter what the event. The event could be the end of the world and they would miss the last spaceship off. I can't take it personally or I'll go nuts but it's still wild to me 🤦‍♀️💀😄

Supposed to gifts to her and possibly also to have out at the reception. Because I think it's this very personal sweet thing that she remembers visiting her dad during her childhood. I feel it's those little personal moments and quirks that mean so much

It's the father of someone very close to me so I don't know exactly what that would be, but I have kind of a fun idea. When she was a little girl her dad had all of these wind-up toys he would keep in his recording booth at Warner Brothers studio. I wanted to buy a box of wind up toys

This is generally a good idea but I think they're going to be reaching out to everyone personally as opposed to publicly

The celebration is a memorial service / celebration of life only, so we do not have to handle those particular aspects.

Thank you, I'm going to Google this but since you are right here and you might have better info, would you mind telling me the types of things I might need if I were to offer this to my friends

This person was a sound engineer. He has multiple gold records (back from when those really meant something). Playing his music will be a priority ❤️❤️🙂 thank you

Thanks so much, this is one thing I did think of. I was going to just use zoom for this or Google meets. In your experience did you prefer a certain platform?

them to celebrate this person. I don't mind that one bit, I'm just super glad I'm here to help them because I wouldn't want them dealing with the logistics of a more complicated service by themselves right now. They were caregiving for more than a year and are grieving and burnt out

Just all that little payoff stuff that comes from choosing one type of venue over the other. It's all gravy to me I just want to make sure that she's what makes them happy and brings them the least amount of stress. In this case what is logistically simplest me just feel fundamentally wrong for

Cooperstreaming ♿️ @cooperstreaming.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
So I put together a brief questionnaire for them their priorities with info that needs to be considered (For instance, an outdoor venue - does it have clear paved walking paths? It is easy for the elderly and or disabled? It's going to be fall. If it's outside do we have heat lamps?

If they don't mind being additional logistics, which I will help them through, then they can certainly plan in one of those places. But it is very different with a funeral director, with a service and reception on the same site, etc etc. Especially in LA because you know we have traffic & parking

Cooperstreaming ♿️ @cooperstreaming.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Yes, I'm helping the family plan and they were talking about everything from venues mostly used for weddings to restaurants, I think partially because funeral homes feels so sterile and perhaps not emotionally correct for this person. Which I completely understand

Thank you. My dad is alive, my friend's family member passed and I am helping plan the funeral to alleviate some stress from her & her loved ones. I mostly just seeking out things I may not have thought of that could come up logistically. Stuff that might not occur to the average person

So funny to me because again, even if you don't actually understand or pay attention to the rest of the lyrics I do feel like the mournful way Whitney sings the song in particular makes it very clear that this is a goodbye

But yes it is very funny and kind of weird to see how directly we map our own feelings onto songs. Sometimes I'm not feelings onto a song that I know are not with the song is actually about but it works for me. I know that No Children is about a partner but when I hear "you are coming down with me

Before I was disabled I also played guitar, sang and wrote songs. And the first thing I noticed is that my friends would interpret my songs as being about whatever they were going through. Which I think is sometimes the mark of a good song, that people feel they can access and relate to it

The reverse is also really funny, when people try to create profound meaning when there isn't any. Don't Look Back in Anger has a bunch of things that almost sound like they mean something in it but they don't. People ask "well what is it then!?!" and the answer is two guys on a lot of drugs 🤷‍♀️

Event spaces that tend to cater to weddings have an enormous markup on them It's just tough because I think they really want to honor him in a place that they feel aesthetically represents his personality, and that is difficult and funeral homes And looking for places that have lots of trees

So that elderly guests don't have to relocate and also people don't have to worry about parking in Los Angeles. They seem to be straying from classic memorial spaces like funeral homes and churches, but I have been looking some up because they are the most prepped for this type of event and also

I'm helping out a close friend whose parent passed and the families just so exhausted from grief and a year of very intense caregiving so I want to be able to present them with options I think that ideally they want to place where a reception can be hosted in the same location
