Yarn chicken because this is from balls of yarn I had hanging around. I did some "quantity survey-ing" and took a punt that I had enough. But then I walked in to Aldi and saw OTHER COLOURS from the same range. Which is the theme for rev. 2.

Hideous Cardigan rev. 1 (aka hideous granny square cardigan made with vibes) is so close to being finished I can taste it. Do I hate crocheting yet? Nope. But I am playing an extreme game of yarn chicken.

I made a small Evil Sunz war banner. Acrylic paint, applique (machine and hand), scrap fabric. It is a precursor to two "full-size" banners that are in progress. Another Evil Sunz, and a Nurgle. The Nurgle is my favourite as it's made out of leather taken from an old sofa.

A red and yellow banner, stuck to a grey front door. It is a replication of an Evil Sunz banner from art in an old White Dwarf. It's a rectangle. At the top are four beige icons which look like chillis. There's a zig-zag pattern 1/3 down. Below that is a sickly yellow skull (half) next to a red sun (half). The sun has a face and black tendrils coming out of it.

Well, I went and did it. And I'm happy to see there's controller support natively now! I'll not raid with a controller but it should make levelling a little less RSI-inducing. I came back to try Dragon Flight last year and it annoyed the tits off me. Hopefully, it'll be a bit better 😅

As we move into the hellfire section of summer. I have to share this. I bought a laptop stand with a fan built in for the gaming laptop months ago. It works like a charm. What it also does is: if you forget to turn it off it can sorta cool the room. More deets in the image description.

It's a large laptop stand with a fan built in. You can adjust the RPM. It has a selection of USB ports, but I am cagey about connecting them to the laptop. They are powered so I use them for accessories.

It is loud but not as loud as the laptop without it. I do not find it as much of a sensory overload as the laptop. I think its because I have control over the RPM.

It comes with and without RGB. So if you're a 12 year old COD player they have you covered.

I am from before the Internet...
