Completely agree. BUT we also have to take into account growth in the prison setting. If they're remorseful etc and we can prove that, I don't see an issue with a reduction in their sentence BUT not if it's just because of over-crowding.

Disagree with the full-sentences. I think each conviction category and each conviction within that should be considered. We also need to look at recidivism within petty crime categories and escalation. We know that putting petty criminals alongside career criminals just increases crime rates.
