My first real restaurant gig was in a 3-star kitchen last week. Pretty surreal for a self-taught home cook…

Dark matter’s “nightmare scenario” looks more likely than ever Perhaps dark matter cannot be directly detected; perhaps it only interacts gravitationally. That's not an argument against its existence. That's the nightmare scenario come to life! bigthink.com/starts-with-... #physics #space #astro

Dark matter's "nightmare scenario" looks more likely than ever
Our great hope is that today's indirect, astrophysical evidence will someday lead to successful direct detection. What if that's impossible?

More pre-history: the invention of ceramics—pots, bowls, plates—implies the existence of surplus food. Prior to pottery, food was cooked and eaten in smaller bits due to its scarcity. Pottery indicates the presence of surplus food items and thus the need for storage.

I'll repeat saying it again even though I'm confident that it may not convince anyone to refrain. If you are attacking Democrats over what they've done rather than going after Republicans for what they've done, then you are working for the wrong team if you like democracy and rule of law.
