Storm Fresh Hop IPA - **¾ Clean, wet mouth with some of the same cereal and jasmine as last year but very, very hot with some burnt caramel and metallic acidity. Boozy heat and heavy anis are detracting from the hop focus. Sweetly medicinal finish. A miss, unfortunately.

Category 12 Fresh Hop IPA - ****¼ Surprisingly bright, light, and fruity (especially given the Centennial hops). Juicy Fruit gum, some cantaloupe, and just a hint of heat and resin in a very refreshing mouth. A more traditionally bitter and citric Centennial note on the finish.

Fresh hop review thread! Driftwood Sartori Harvest - ****¼ Deeply resinous and bitter. Contemplative vinous notes driving deeper into woody tannins to the exclusion of any airy floral or fruit notes. Mouthfeel becomes lighter and almost effervescent on the finish. A very bitter but worthy vintage.
