Where would 75% of Scottish bands you like be now if late-night BBC Radio Scotland radio they say they were first played in didn’t exist? The BBC's decision today is affecting Scotland’s music tomorrow. 'One hand Washes the Other'

Is Vernon Kay worth more to the BBC than the future of Scottish music? That can’t be right? Can it? Vernon gets £394k (BBC Pay List 24/25) Mon-Fri ‘Up Late’ show £175k (BBC ITT) Roddy’s weekend show? Say same as the 'Up Late' budget £175k #bbc #bbcradioscotland #vernonkay

Update on BBC Radio Scotland cuts They're feeling the public pressure Roddy Hart has been given more air time, which is excellent! But... - His team are still axed - 4 key shows still axed - Music policy still passive listening - Still little room for emerging artists - Core problems unchanged

It’s a Band band. Not a solo project with a band band. The record is what it is because of the textures we each add. On top of that you have the guests like @marktranmer.bsky.social @andyaquarius and Jimmy Chadwin. Not to mention everything that @dandysounds added in the mix. Collaboration.
