Baby Badger (fka Ziti) died overnight. He’d been to the vet yesterday and had developed a respiratory infection but seemed to be fine all day. He ate well, took his meds willingly, and was as playful and engaged as ever.

What do I need to know this week, per Publishing Goblin’s The Oracle of Secrets? Rest is important, but you have to do the work first. Finish your tasks now, relax later. Dammit, I wanted an excuse to be a lump all week, LOL

Well! We may not be officially fostering for our local shelter this year but dang, handfeeding and…erm, stimulating kittens sure is a skill that comes back quickly! These little sweeties are awaiting official placement and hanging out with J and me in the meantime!

The second-best part of getting a package from @spellfire.bsky.social is watching Dmitri trying to get into the box! The best part, of course, is the contents of said box - an adorable garden sign, a majestic selenite spiral, and the cutest carved crescent moon I’ve ever seen! Perfection!
